What types of projects does Stronghold do?
We provide all types of finish carpentry, cabinetry, baths, kitchens, additions, entry ways, door & window installations, exterior repairs, and landscaping. Stronghold offers interior & exterior design services, which includes space planning, decorating, and furniture selections.
Stronghold only does huge projects, right?
We do large remodeling projects, but the preponderance of our projects are home improvement type projects-bathrooms, front entry systems, & cosmetic interior remodeling; re-designing space to fit you and your family's lifestyle. We even do handy man repair and carpentry work.
Why is remodeling more expensive than new construction?
Remodeling square footage pricing tends to be higher because it contains additional steps that new construction doesn't have to deal with. On a square footage basis remodeling is generally a much smaller space to spread the costs over. Remodeling has demolition, hidden existing conditions, and blending with the rest of the home to contend with. Many times existing structures aren't "square" or up to Code which brings additional challenges to remodeling. However, when you remodel you retain all the benefits of the neighborhood & home you love and avoid the cost & hassles of moving.
